Support Dutchess Day School

Thank you for your interest in supporting Dutchess Day School. Since 1955, DDS has been fortunate to have significant support from our broader community of parents, faculty, staff, trustees, past parents, grandparents, alumni and friends.  We understand the importance of each contribution and we want our donors to know that each and every gift makes a difference at Dutchess Day.  Continuous support from our constituents ensures that we can maintain the level of excellence for which we are known, in every aspect of life at school.

At DDS we are committed to providing the best education in the region, while attempting to keep tuition affordable. The Annual Fund is vital in allowing us to meet the growing costs of educating our students, as it directly supports our innovative programs.

Each spring, the Parents Association, working with the Development Committee of the Board, coordinates a spring event to raise funds for a particular facet of our programs. Last year our successful auction at the Millbrook Vineyards and Winery raised over $75,000 which was used to support our faculty, provide additional professional development opportunities, increase program enrichment and add to the school’s financial aid resources.

In 2009, we launched our formal planned giving society, The Tower Society. Sometimes such gifts go unrecognized because they come at the end of a donor’s life. The Tower Society provides a way for the school to recognize and thank those donors during their lifetimes.

Gifts to DDS have a lasting impact on the learning experience of our students. Please take a few moments to review the ways of giving and consider making your gift or pledge today.

Sincerely,
