After School Programs

Three times a year, coinciding with sports seasons, DDS offers an enriching after school program for children in grades K-5. Class offerings vary each session. Spring classes include Lego building, advanced cooking, yoga, nature crafts, outdoor fun and a sewing/crafts class. Classes meet for one hour, one day a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Students signed up for the program go to the library when school is over and have a snack before being picked up for their 3:30 class. Students attending classes are ready for parent pickup by 4:30. Parents are charged per class for each 10-week session. For class descriptions and fees click the link for the After School Program brochure below. Spring classes begin the week of April 4.

Parents who cannot pickup their children at regular dismissal time or after a class, may elect to send their children to study hall. Students are provided with a snack and homework help is available. Parents are billed $12.50 per hour beginning at 3:30. Studyhall ends at 5:30.
