DDS Science Fair
The science fair is a great opportunity for students to explore an area of interest, practice problem solving skills, time management, organization, and presentation skills. We strongly encourage all students to get involved.
All 6th graders are required to do a project in conjunction with their science curriculum. It is optional for other students in grades 4 -8.
Team projects will be allowed, but only individual projects from grades 5-8 are eligible to move on to the Dutchess County Science Fair which will be held on March 29th this year.
The completed projects will be presented to judges on Tuesday, February 25th, during the morning and shown to the student body in the afternoon. After school is a time for parents and community members to view the projects. Viewing will begin at 3:30 p.m. All students will receive a certificate to acknowledge their participation in the fair.
