Art Quilt All School Presentation
2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27
On Wednesday, April 27, at 2:30 classes will present their 60th anniversary quilts to the school community in a special assembly. The children will be costumed as their “quilt era”—for example the 2nd grade will be decked out in 50s attire, and the 7th will represent the 60s. (Simple festive accessories are all that are needed … not fancy costumes!) Two 8th grade DJs, Chris and Claire, will play music for each class presentation so the children can dance and enjoy the festivities. This is open to our whole school community, so families are encouraged to come have some fun, dance, and get a sneak peek at the quilts which will be up for auction on the 30th.
Every child from preschool through 8th grade had a hand in the making of decade quilts to honor the longevity of the school.
