Class of '91 update: John VanLeeuwen bumps into Caroleana "Coco" O'Brien on the beach in
the Bahia region of Brazil. A small world we live in.
Jay Braiman '84: Jason is still teaching English at Brooklyn High School of the Arts (11 years
teaching overall), although he is no longer coaching baseball in the PSAL as he's now attending
Brooklyn Law School as an evening student. He is a member of the Law Review and moot Court
Honor Society and plans to leave teaching when he completes his J.D.
Lauren Bontecou Reichart '93: Lauren was married in October. She and her husband recently
moved to Milford, Connecticut and are settling happily into their new life. She is now the Annual
Giving Director at Hopkins School in New Haven. She misses working at DDS but is happy to
continue hearing about all the great things that are happening at the school!
Mimi Anthony'04 is a senior at Millbrook School. She is captain of 3 sports - Field Hockey,
Squash and Lacrosse.
Alexandra Fresne'04 will be attending Skidmore College in the fall.
Andrew McLaren (former Head) After 3 years working for NYSAIS he is enjoying raising money
for Horizon's National which is a public private partnership providing 6 week summer academic
enrichment programs to low income kids in 15 locations.
Antonia Giardina '91 has a new position - Chief Program Management Branch, US Army
Environmental Command and is engaged to be married to Zachary Knepper in September,
2008.
Juliana Pecchina, '91 (Bontecou) welcomed her first child, a daughter, on Feb 26, 2008.
Paisley Emilia Pecchia was 7 lbs 10 oz and was 19 inches long.. Juliana is doing great and
loving motherhood!
Antonia Kannengiesser (Kerckerinck) '94 welcomed her first child, a daughter, on October 20,
2007. Eliot Clarke '94 is her godfather!
Timoney O'Brien Dunlap '88 is loving her crazy life in Alexandria, VA. She graduated from
Colorado College and moved to Washington, DC. She was married in 2000 and now has three
amazing kids!
